This project is an application of 3D printing technology with the most significant flower in the Chinese culture - the Lotus -to achieve highly sustainable results in the design, construction, and footprint outcome

The symbiosis of architecture and the environment has long been a significant topic for discussion. Traditional construction methods have many environmental drawbacks, such as high carbon emissions, waste generation, material waste and energy consumption. The team from the University of Washington is dedicated to reducing energy and material consumption in the construction process through design and the application of 3D printing technology, thus achieving the goal of conserving materials and protecting the environment.
